The new vessel, Al Sadaf, has a capacity of 175,000 cbm and can run on LNG as well as conventional marine fuels.
The final two vessels in this series are scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2026. These ships are part of a wider fleet expansion that also includes nine very large ethane carriers (VLECs) and four very large ammonia carriers (VLACs) on order from the same Shanghai-based shipyard.
The first vessel in the LNG carrier series, Al Shelila, was delivered in November last year.
