A fast ferry is a high-speed passenger or vehicle ferry designed for quick travel over short distances.
The vessel was bunkered using the multi-truck to ship (MTTS) method at the Isla Verde Interior dock of the Port of Algeciras. This marked the first LNG bunkering operation conducted at night within the inner dock.
Previously, such operations were only permitted outside the dock and during daytime hours, according to Juan Cabrera Ferrer, who oversees LNG bunkering at Baleària.
However, the company has not disclosed additional details, including the LNG supplier.
