A marine bunkering skid is a modular, pre-assembled fuel transfer system typically mounted on a steel frame. It is a self-contained unit equipped with essential components, including pumps, valves and flow meters.
This equipment is designed for the safe bunkering of gaseous fuels such as LNG and ammonia.
Anglo-Eastern’s bunkering station skid is equipped with cryogenic fuelling technology and safety systems, allowing for real-life simulations of ammonia and LNG bunkering operations.
These simulations cover fuel transfer, emergency responses and regulatory compliance within a controlled training environment.
“As the industry transitions toward sustainable fuels, the need for well-trained professionals has never been greater. This new facility will equip maritime personnel with the knowledge and hands-on experience required to meet the challenges of LNG and ammonia bunkering,” said Aalok Sharma, group director of training at Anglo-Eastern.
