Antwerp terminals operational again as oil spill clean-up nears completion
Antwerp terminals are largely operational again as the clean-up work is nearly finished after last week’s oil spill at Deurganckdock.

Antwerp's North Sea terminal and Europa Terminal were fully cleared for use on Thursday, according to the latest update by the Antwerp-Bruges port authority.
Terminals in Deurganck dock are also operational, but quay walls and ships are still been cleaned on the western side, the port authority said. The Noordzee Terminal became operational on Wednesday.
Inland vessels are being cleaned at the Galgenschoor inland waterway jetty. The Lillo-Zuid waiting jetty, which is also used for inland shipping, has been available since Tuesday.
