Avenir conducts small-scale LNG bunkering in Poland

UK-based LNG supplier Avenir LNG has completed the first small-scale LNG bunkering operation at Poland's Swinoujscie LNG Terminal.

The 7,500 cbm bunker vessel Avenir Ascension assisted in commissioning a newly constructed small-scale LNG jetty. It carried out various functionality tests, including loading and unloading LNG at the terminal.

However, the company has not disclosed the volume of LNG transferred.

The operation was supported by Polish energy firm Orlen and terminal operator Gaz-System.
