Avenir delivers LNG to ferries in Sweden

UK-based Avenir completed LNG bunkering of two ferries operated by TT-Line in the Port of Trelleborg in Sweden.

The LNG bunkering was performed earlier this week, wherein Avenir’s LNG bunker vessel Avenir Ascension delivered LNG to ferries Nils Holgersson and Peter Pan.

Avenir Ascension, has a carrying capacity of 7,500 cbm.

In January, Avenir supplied LNG to Peter Pan at Pengerang Anchorage, Malaysia.

“Its good to see that the network of LNG & bio-LNG bunker locations are growing and that TT-Line and Avenir have been able to establish a partnership, which is now extended to other locations as well,” Avenir’s commodity director Jan Schuber said.
