Hull S1123 is the first of two 20,000 cbm LNG bunker barges and is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026 under charter to Vitol International Shipping. The second vessel is expected to be delivered in early 2027.

Avenir LNG currently operates a fleet of five LNG bunkering vessels, with two more under construction. The company can offer ship-to-ship, ship-to-truck and ship-to-terminal deliveries, according to its website.

Stolt-Nielsen Gas, a subsidiary of Norwegian tanker operator Stolt-Nielsen, completed acquisition of Avenir LNG earlier this year.
