Ship-to-ship (STS) LNG bunkering of Nils Holgersson, a passenger ferry operated by German ferry operator TT-Line, was carried out by Avenir LNG bunker vessel, Avenir Aspiration.
The company has not disclosed the stem size.
TT-Line operates the LNG dual fuel ferry Nils Holgersson between Travemünde in Germany and Trelleborg in Sweden.
The operation marked Avenir LNG's first STS bunkering operation in Germany. It is also planning to expand its LNG bunkering service across northwest Europe this year, the company said.
