The agreement covers truck-to-ship bunkering operations, and the first deliveries are expected to start in the second half of 2026.

"The agreement [...] highlights the increasing confidence in ammonia as a low-emission marine fuel", Azane said in its LinkedIn post.

Azane’s subsidiary, Azane Infrastructure, is developing three ammonia bunkering terminals in Florø, Risavika and Mongstad, and have received funding from Norwegian government enterprise Enova, ENGINE reported previously.

The three bunker stations will each have a capacity of 2,000 cbm of refrigerated ammonia and a bunkering rate of more than 100 mt/hour. They are expected to begin operations in 2029 and serve international and coastal ammonia dual-fuel ships.
