Petrochemical firm Cosmo Oil Marketing, part of Cosmo Energy Holdings, has teamed up with logistics company NX Shoji for the project.
NX Shoji will procure 24% fatty acid methyl esters (FAME)-based biofuel and blend it with 76% conventional fuel, as well as carry out ship-to-ship bunkering at the port.
Cosmo Oil Marketing will supply heavy fuel oil for blending in this project. The duo has not disclosed the supplier of biofuel.
