Bad weather keeps bunkering suspended in Zhoushan’s OPL area

Bunker deliveries at Zhoushan’s Tiaozhoumen and Xiazhimen outer anchorages have been suspended since Friday due to rough weather, a source says.

Meanwhile, bunker operations are proceeding smoothly at Zhoushan's more sheltered Xiushandong anchorage and at the port's inner anchorage of Mazhi.

The port is currently experiencing strong wind gusts of 20-24 knots and swells close to a metre.

Suppliers are uncertain when bunkering operations in the OPL area will resume, according to the source.
