Bunker One acquires UK's Quay Energy

Global bunker supplier Bunker One has acquired UK-based bunker supplier Quay Energy Solutions to expand its bunkering operations across the country.

Quay Energy offers physical supply of HSFO, VLSFO, marine gasoil (MGO) and marine diesel oil (MDO), according to its website.

The company also notes that it supplies “sustainable fuels” for bunkering, though no further details are provided.

Bunker One already supplies LSMGO and biofuel blends via barge deliveries at ports along the River Thames and by truck to ports across southern England, the southeast, northwest of UK and Wales.

The acquisition will further strengthen its position in the UK market, the company said.
