BYD takes delivery of LNG dual-fuel car carrier

Chinese automaker BYD has taken delivery of a new LNG dual-fuel car carrier named BYD Shenzhen.

The vessel can carry up to 9,200 vehicles and is capable of operating on both LNG and conventional marine fuels. It also features shore power capability, allowing it to connect to onshore electricity while docked.

Built by China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Nanjing, the ship's deployment plans have not yet been disclosed by BYD.
