Ceuta bunker barge halts operations amid bad weather

The bunker barge SPABunker Cuarenta’s operations have been suspended today, according to shipping agent Jose Salama & Co.

This has caused bunkering delays of around 8-10 hours at the anchorage, said port agent MH Bland. Strong wind gusts of around 33 knots are forecast in Ceuta today.   

12 vessels are due to arrive for bunkers in Ceuta today, up from nine vessels yesterday, Jose Salama & Co said. One vessel is currently waiting at the anchorage.
