About 400-cbm of LNG was delivered to a tanker M/T Damia Desgagnés during its maiden port call at Port Canaveral.
The bunkering was handled by US-based supplier JAX LNG and Canadian energy firm Polaris New Energy. Gulf Agency Company’s (GAC) arm GAC Bunker Fuels was also the trading partner in the LNG transfer.
“LNG is a proven clean energy fuel option and we’re proud to support its use in the maritime industry,” said John Murray, chief executive of Port Canaveral.
