The Port of Kaohsiung is located on Taiwan's southwest coast, facing the Taiwan Strait and Bashi Channel.

CPC will supply B24, comprising 24% biofuel and “76% LSMF-180 (0.5%)” – which is a low-sulphur marine fuel with a maximum sulphur content of 0.5%. Deliveries are expected to start in October 2026.

The move will help align Taiwan's marine fuel supply with “global maritime net-zero greenhouse gas emissions targets and Taiwan’s Net-Zero Transition policy,” CPC said.
