EXMAR launches two LPG dual-fuel carriers

The Antwerp-headquartered gas transport firm has launched two midsize LPG dual-fuel gas carriers (MGCs) at South Korea’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyards.

The two vessels, Champagny and Courchevel, are part of a series of six MGCs being built at HD Hyundai Mipo. 

The 46,000 cbm capacity dual-fuel vessels can run on LPG and conventional fuel.  

The remaining four vessels will be equipped with dual-fuel ammonia engines and are slated for delivery in 2026, the company said in November.
