The operation took place at the Changxing Island Petrochemical Industrial Base.
Cosco Shipping’s 9,000 cbm LNG dual-fuel tanker Xing Sheng Yuan received an undisclosed volume of bio-LNG in Dalian while simultaneously completing its first ethylene loading. The vessel can transport dual cargoes, including LPG and liquefied ethylene, Cosco Shipping said.
The bunkering was jointly conducted by Sinopec China Shipping Marine Fuel Supply and Anhui Wanbo Energy Technology. The bio-LNG was produced by Anhui Wanbo using organic waste, China News reported.
