The hurricane weakened into a tropical storm yesterday. It has been further downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone as it moves towards Bermuda over the Atlantic Ocean.

In North Carolina, the Ports of Wilmington and Morehead City have also resumed operations with some restrictions. Vessels and facilities are allowed to operate only during the daytime.

Mariners are advised to navigate North Carolina waterways with caution and to seek prior approval from the captain of the port before moving inbound and outbound traffic through these ports between sunset and sunrise.
