Fratelli Cosulich inches closer to inducting LNG bunker vessel

Global bunker supplier Fratelli Cosulich plans to operate its first 8,700 cbm-capacity LNG bunker delivery vessel by this September.

The Alice Cosulich will have capacity to carry 8,200 cbm of LNG and 500 cbm of MGO. The LNG bunker vessel was recently launched from China’s Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering shipyard. The shipyard is also building another LNG bunker vessel for Fratelli Cosulich.

Fratelli Cosulich plans to operate the Alice Cosulich in the Mediterranean region, according to classification society DNV.

The global LNG bunker delivery vessel fleet is currently made up of 44 vessels, with another 10-14 expected to join this year, DNV data shows.
