Gibraltar bunker calls decline in March
The port of Gibraltar recorded 320 bunker calls in March, registering an 8% decrease from a year ago, Gibraltar Port Authority (GPA) figures show.

Bunker calls were also down by 8% from February.
The port received 1,058 bunker calls in the first three months of this year, recording a 3% rise from 1,026 ships from the same period last year.
Meanwhile, 11 cruise ships arrived for bunkers in in March, an increase from three vessels in February. In March 2024, only five cruise vessels called for bunkering in Gibraltar.
Bunker fuel demand in Gibraltar usually increases with cruise traffic, which peaks during the summer months from April to September.
A total of 19 cruise ships called at Gibraltar in the first three months of this year, an increase from seven in the same period a year ago.
