Winds of around 40 knots and waves above 2 metres are forecast until 14 February.
Suppliers at the port are already struggling with backlogs caused due to previous disruptions, with around 26 vessels awaiting bunkers as of the morning of 13 February, port agent MH Bland said.
Around 20 vessels are expected to call for bunkers at the port between 13-14 February, according to A Mateos & Sons.
Port operations have also been suspended in Algeciras, while only ex-pipe bunkering operations are possible in Ceuta, MH Bland said.
