Greig New Energy, Nysno, Eviny and Westfal-Larsen are entering the company’s shareholder base through an NOK 32 million ($3.4 million) private placement.
Nereida offers battery solutions for many vessel types like service vessels, wellboats, ferries and offshore vessels. The battery system includes a proprietary control system and software platform.
Parent company Greig Maritime has previously partnered with UK-based engineering firm GT Wings to install wind-assisted propulsion systems (WAPS) on its cargo vessel, Star Kirkenes.
