The vessel, Hafnia Languedoc, was bunkered with an unspecified volume of LNG at the Port of Pengerang.

The Hafnia Languedoc is the first in the series of four dual-fuel LNG tankers being built for Hafnia by China’s Guangzhou Shipyard International. The vessel was delivered to Hafnia in January. The second, Hafnia Loire, is slated for delivery this month, followed by two more vessels in 2024.

All four vessels will be time-chartered to oil giants Total Energies and Equinor.

“We look forward to sharing more on LNG bunkering in the months to come, as we take over more LNG dual fuel vessels,” Hafnia says.
