Helmsman Supply to offer biofuel blends in Hong Kong from September

Bunker supplier Helmsman Supply expects to start supplying biofuel blends in Hong Kong from next month, a company spokesperson tells ENGINE.

The company will supply biofuel blends in the range of B15-B24, which are made up of 15-24% biofuel components blended with 76-85% VLSFO or gasoil.

The biofuel components will be produced from used cooking oil. Stems will be delivered via barges.

The minimum order quantity will be 100 mt and lead times of around a week are recommended, the spokesperson adds.
