Himalaya Shipping takes delivery of LNG dual-fuel vessel

Bermuda-based Himalaya Shipping has announced that it has taken delivery of a Newcastlemax LNG dual-fuel vessel from China's New Times Shipyard.

This is the tenth of 12 such dual-fuel vessels ordered by Himalaya, with the remaining two vessels expected to be delivered in June.

The 210,000-dwt vessel, Mount Denali, has been chartered to an unnamed major commodity trading firm until December 2026.
