HMM launches fourth methanol dual-fuel vessel

South Korean shipping firm HMM (formerly Hyundai Merchant Marine) has launched the fourth vessel in its series of seven methanol dual-fuel container ships under construction at HD Hyundai Samho.

The 9,000 TEU container vessel, HMM Clover, is capable of operating on both methanol and conventional marine fuels.

However, the company has not yet announced the vessel’s deployment plans or the delivery schedule for the remaining ships.
