HMM’s methanol-capable newbuild bunkers methanol at Shanghai

South Korean shipping company HMM (formerly Hyundai Merchant Marine) announced that its vessel, HMM Green, was bunkered with 2,900 mt of green methanol at the Port of Shanghai while unloading cargo.

HMM Green, the first of nine methanol-capable vessels on order, was delivered in March.

However, the company did not disclose further details about the operation, including the supplier's name.
