Gibraltar is reporting strong wind gusts of up to 36 knots today. Weather conditions are forecast to remain rough until Thursday, with wind gusts of 24-34 knots. This may cause prolonged delays for bunkering in Gibraltar.

Across the strait, bunkering operations are proceeding in Algeciras, but suppliers are reporting delays there. All suppliers in Algeciras are running behind schedule, with one supplier reporting delays of 6-12 hours, MH Bland said.

In the nearby Ceuta port, bunkering is proceeding normally with nine vessels due to arrive for bunkers today unchanged from yesterday, according to shipping agent Jose Salama & Co. Suppliers are not reporting any delays in the port today, unlike yesterday when all suppliers reported delays of 4-6 hours.
