James Fisher takes delivery of LNG dual-fuel tanker

UK-based marine services company James Fisher has taken delivery of a new LNG dual-fuel chemical and product tanker, Orca Fisher.

The 6,000 dwt vessel is equipped with a four-stroke engine from Wärtsilä, capable of running on both LNG and conventional marine fuels. It was constructed at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng.

Further details, including the vessel’s deployment plans, have not been disclosed.
