Jiangnan Shipyard lands order for four LNG dual-fuel LNG carriers

China's Jiangnan Shipyard has secured a contract to build four LNG dual-fuel LNG carriers.

Each vessel will have a cargo capacity of 175,000 cbm and will be powered by WinGD dual-fuel engines capable of running on both LNG and conventional marine fuels.

Upon delivery, all four carriers will be chartered to Shell under long-term agreements.

No additional details have been disclosed, including the identity of the vessel owner or the intended deployment of the carriers.
