The vessel is a medium-sized petrochemical product carrier and is fitted with the Swiss engine maker WinGD’s engine. It is also equipped with an ammonia fuel supply system developed by Alfa Laval.
Ammonia-capable vessel orders surged in 2024 with 22 new vessels, more than double compared to the previous year, according to data jointly published by the classification society Lloyd’s Register (LR), the maritime research firm Clarksons and information services firm IHS.
