Lhyfe will produce green hydrogen for "maritime purposes" in France

The production unit called “Lhyfe Bretagne” will be located in Brittany, France. It will produce up to 2 mt/day of green hydrogen and will be operational in the second half of this year.

This is its second green hydrogen production facility, says renewable hydrogen producer Lhyfe.

Lhyfe Bretagne will supply hydrogen for 10 years to two refuelling stations in the Lorient area in France, including one for “maritime purposes.”

Lhyfe inaugurated its first offshore renewable green hydrogen production pilot last year in Saint-Nazaire, France. Additionally, it will begin operations of a 30 mt/day green hydrogen unit in Denmark next year.
