The Grace Emilia ran aground in Little Bitter Lake, 125 km into the southern section of the Suez Canal. The grounded vessel has not impacted shipping traffic in the canal, according to shipping agency Leth.
68 vessels are expected to transit the Suez Canal today, Leth says.
According to VesselFinder's AIS data, four tugboats are currently working to move the stuck LNG carrier.
