Mabanaft buys fuel terminal in Copenhagen, explores biofuels
German energy company Mabanaft has obtained complete ownership of a fuel terminal in Copenhagen from tank terminal logistics service provider Oiltanking.

Besides offering conventional fuel grades from the terminal, Mabanaft will now explore new product streams such as biofuels in Copenhagen.
However, the company has not specified which blends of biofuels it will explore.
“We want to help our customers decarbonise and our best way to do this is by leveraging our core strengths of sourcing, storing, handling and distributing liquid fuels," Mabanaft's chief executive Jon Perkins says.
Located at Prøvestenen Island in Copenhagen, the terminal has a storage capacity of 462,000 cbm and handles liquid fuels for transport including the maritime industry, the company said in the statement.
