A.P. Møller – Maersk says construction of the feeder vessel is running smoothly at the South Korean shipyard Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and that it is expected to be delivered this summer.

The vessel will be equipped with a dual-fuel engine from German engine maker MAN Energy Solutions, which can run on methanol or conventional marine fuels.

Maersk ordered the feeder vessel back in July 2021, and has since placed orders for an additional 18 dual-fuel methanol container ships, with deliveries starting next year.
