Meyer Turku launches third LNG-capable cruise ship

Finnish shipbuilder Meyer Turku has launched Royal Caribbean’s third LNG-capable cruise ship, the Legend of the Seas, at its Turku yard.

The vessel will now enter the outfitting stage, while preparations are underway in the dry dock for the keel laying of Royal Caribbean’s fourth LNG-capable ship.

Once delivered, Legend of the Seas will join her sister ships, Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas, in service.
