The LNG-capable vessel, Asuka III, has been built for NYK Cruises, a subsidiary of Japan-based shipping company NYK Line.
The vessel will soon leave Papenburg for the Dutch port of Eemshaven. After the subsequent technical and nautical trials on the North Sea, Asuka III will set course for the German port of Emden, where the final outfitting and handover of the ship will take place.
The delivery of the ship is scheduled for spring 2025.
