Monjasa's bunker barge resumes US Gulf operations after drydocking

Bunker supplier Monjasa’s bunker barge Monjasa Thunder has returned to service following its first-ever drydocking in the Bahamas.

Drydocking involves taking a vessel out of the water for planned inspections, maintenance, repairs and upgrades.

The barge successfully completed its intermediate and docking surveys at Grand Bahama Shipyard in Freeport and has resumed operations in the US Gulf.

The scheduled drydocking was carried out in collaboration with Dubai-headquartered ship management firm Montec.

Since the launch of Monjasa's offshore US Gulf bunkering operations in late 2024, Monjasa Thunder has completed 272 bunker deliveries, according to the company.
