MPA grants bunkering licence to Pertamina

Singapore’s Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) has added Indonesia’s state-owned energy company Pertamina to its roster of licensed bunker suppliers.

Pertamina International Marketing & Distribution (PIMD), a wholly-owned Singapore-based subsidiary of Pertamina Group, has been added to the MPA’s official supplier list with effect from 1 January.

PIMD’s inclusion brings the total number of licensed bunker suppliers operating at the Port of Singapore to 39. This marks a decline from 41 suppliers listed in an MPA document dated 3 January 2025, following the authority’s decision last year not to renew the bunker supplier and bunker craft operator licences of Sentek Marine & Trading, Sirius Marine, and Hai Yin Marine.
