New joint venture orders two LNG bunker vessels

Hong Kong-based conglomerate Caravel Group and Denmark’s Celsius Shipping have jointly ordered two 20,000-cbm LNG bunker vessels from Chinese shipyards.

The companies have set up a joint venture to co-own the vessels, which will be built by China Merchants Industry Holdings and China Merchants Heavy Industry Jiangsu.

Deliveries are scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of 2027.
