NYK unveils new LPG dual-fuel gas carrier

Japanese shipping company Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK Line) has unveiled its eighth dual-fuel LPG carrier.

The vessel, Lyla Pathfinder, can operate on both LPG and conventional marine fuels and is designed to carry ammonia in addition to LPG. 

Upon delivery, the vessel will be chartered by Swiss energy firm BGN, but NYK has not disclosed where the vessel will be deployed.
