OMTI starts bio-bunker deliveries in Fujairah

UAE-based bunker supplier Oil Marketing and Trading International (OMTI) supplied an unspecified quantity of a B24 blend in the Port of Fujairah.

The B24 blend comprises 24% bio-component blended with 76% of conventional fuels.

Delivery was carried out via the OMTI-operated chemical tanker, MT Coya. Details of the receiving vessel were not specified.  

The company also mentioned plans to expand its “low-carbon fuel offerings even further,” in a social media post, but did not specify more details.
