The 24,000-TEU methanol dual-fuel container vessel, OOCL Wisdom, received 1,500 mt of green methanol, according to state-owned media outlet China Daily.
The operation marked OOCL Wisdom's maiden green methanol bunkering but did not identify the physical supplier, OOCL said.
OOCL Wisdom is the first in a series of seven methanol dual-fuel container vessels. Following the bunkering operation, the vessel is to sail from Qingdao to Northern Europe.
