It supplied an unspecified quantity of LNG to a pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) calling at the Port of Kobe in Osaka Bay, using Seto Azure, which is owned by its affiliated company Osaka Bay LNG Shipping.
Osaka Gas launched its ship-to-ship LNG bunkering operation in April this year, when it bunkered a dual fuel bulk carrier in Fukuyama, Hiroshima.
The bunkering vessel was delivered in April and will mainly be used for STS bunkering operations in the Osaka Bay and Setouchi areas.
Osaka Gas has previously supplied LNG to vessels by truck-to-ship and port-to-ship bunkering methods.
