The draft limitation will initially be lowered to 44.5 feet starting 24 May, and then to 44 feet from 30 May, the ACP said in its latest advisory.

The port authority has taken this decision considering the current water level in the Gatun Lake and after reviewing data for projected levels in the upcoming weeks.

ACP will continue to monitor Gatun Lake's water levels and make further adjustments to draft limits accordingly.
