Peninsula completes first LNG bunkering in Sagunto

Bunker supplier Peninsula has delivered an unspecified quantity of LNG to a Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K-Line) vessel at the Port of Sagunto in Spain.

The Port of Sagunto is a state-owned seaport on Spain’s Mediterranean coast, located around 25 km north of Valencia.

The stem was delivered to K-Line’s car carrier Thor Highway by Peninsula’s LNG bunker barge Levante LNG.

Peninsula said the delivery supports the expansion of its LNG bunkering operations across the Mediterranean.
