Peninsula inches closer to inducting LNG bunker vessel
Peninsula's 12,500 cbm-capacity LNG bunker vessel will operate across Mediterranean region including ports in the Gibraltar Strait and Spain.

The Levante LNG is jointly developed by global bunker supplier Peninsula and Spanish energy firm Enagás. The LNG bunker vessel was recently launched from the South Korean shipyard Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and is expected to be fully operational by this summer.
Peninsula will operate the LNG bunker vessel for the next seven years.
The global LNG bunker delivery vessel fleet is currently made up of 43 vessels, with another 8-12 expected to join this year, according to data from classification society DNV.
