The company is supplying the B30-HSFO, B30-VLSFO and B30-LSMGO blends in Port la Nouvelle, Sète, Marseille, Toulon and Nice, a company representative told ENGINE.
The biofuel is a blend of 30% used cooking oil methyl ester (UCOME) and 70% conventional fuels like HSFO, VLSFO or LSMGO.
The company also supplies conventional HSFO, VLSFO, and LSMGO by barge in the ports of Marseille, Lavera and Fos Caronte.
Petroineos said the fuels comply with ISO8217 and MARPOL Annex VI.
Deliveries will come with a document stating the quantity of biofuel used and a proof of sustainability (POS) certificate specifying the percentage reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, the company said.
