The 8,200 TEU vessel Kota Ocean is capable of operating on both LNG and conventional marine fuels.

It will serve a route connecting China, Singapore, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria and Ivory Coast.

Kota Ocean is PIL’s sixth LNG dual-fuel vessel, joining its sister ship Kota Oasis, delivered in April 2025, and four 14,000 TEU LNG-capable vessels received since October last year.

PIL also has 12 more LNG dual-fuel vessels on order, including two 8,200 TEU, five 13,000 TEU, and five 9,000 TEU ships, scheduled for delivery over the coming years.
